ASF has had a long-standing collaboration effort with the Peace Corps, and Mr. Jim Damico approached us to request new furniture for Zar Secondary School in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. The school is a growing rural school comprising of 256 students and 15 classrooms. This year saw an enrollment increase of 10%, and an additional 24 displaced Artsakh students have also enrolled for the school year. The school was desperately in need of new furniture for both existing and new students. ASF delivered new furniture to the school on July 29, 2024.
