One of our approved projects for 2024 was the Norashen Jr. School, and on June 8, 2024, the school received its new furnishings for its 41 students. Norashen is a small village with a population of 485, the village is situated in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, near the scenic Lake Sevan. Known for its picturesque landscapes and proximity to one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. The village is part of a region that is rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty, making it a point of interest for visitors exploring the area around Lake Sevan. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture and fishing, with the lake playing a significant role in the livelihoods of the residents.
