On Tuesday July 13th, ASF Board members met H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church and His staff at the Prelacy in La Crescenta, Ca. Board members attending the meeting were Armen Abrahamian, Moneh Der Grigorian, Ida Moghoyan, Maral Anjargholian and Varooj Kureghian. ASF Chairman, Armen Abrahamian after introducing the ASF Board members, presented the history and accomplishments of ASF since its inception in 2003 and talked about the challenges the organization has managed to overcome to re-furnish close to 200 remote schools in Armenia to-date. After the presentation, the attendees discussed various ideas for funding and leveraging resources for future school refurnishing projects in Armenia. This very productive and memorable meeting ended with a tour of the prelacy facilities and taking group photos at the Archbishop’s reception hall.
